At Nyamhunga Stadium, newcomers Hardrock FC secured their first-ever victory in the top flight after edging ZPC Kariba 1-0.
The Golden Boys, who were promoted from the Central Region Division One League, got the victory courtesy of Washington Navaya’s second-half strike.
Elsewhere, FC Platinum also secured their first victory of the campaign after beating Manica Diamonds 2-0, with McKinnon Mushore and Garikai Dematsika both scoring in the first half.
Chicken Inn FC also overcame Triangle United 2-0, while the game between Simba Bhora FC and FC Hunters ended in a goalless draw.
The match between MWOS FC and TelOne FC finished in a 1-1 stalemate.
