Ngezi’s Farai Madhanaga won the ball near the centre circle before making a run and releasing a shot towards goal. The keeper appeared ready to stop the effort, but the ball slipped through his legs and rolled into the net.

CAPS United beat Herentals 1-0 to maintain a perfect start to the season. The result saw them become the only side yet to drop points.

Battle of Zim lives up to its billing

Dynamos and Highlanders played out an entertaining 2–2 draw at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.

Hardrock FC secured their first-ever victory in the top flight after edging ZPC Kariba 1-0.

The Golden Boys, who were promoted from the Central Region Division One League, got the victory courtesy of Washington Navaya’s second-half strike.
