Zimbabwe Named Host Of 2026 CAF African Schools Football Championship Finals
Sports Correspondent -Zimbabwe has officially been selected to host the 4th CAF African Schools Football Championship continental finals, which will take place from April 2 to April 10, 2026.
The prestigious tournament will bring together some of Africa’s most promising Under-15 boys’ and girls’ teams from across the continent for a week-long competition that blends football development with cultural exchange.
Teams representing different regions of Africa are expected to compete in the finals as they battle for continental honours in what has quickly become one of CAF’s key youth development platforms.
By hosting the tournament, Zimbabwe will play a central role in the Confederation of African Football’s broader effort to nurture young talent and promote grassroots football development across the continent.
The CAF African Schools Football Championship is designed to identify and develop future stars while also promoting education, teamwork and unity among young players from different African nations.
