Scottland coach Mapeza reveals what his side needs to maintain momentum

Scottland FC coach Norman Mapeza believes his side will keep on improving after getting their first victory of the season on Thursday.

Scottland recorded a 3-0 victory over Manica Diamonds in a Matchday 3 encounter at Gibbo Stadium in Triangle on Thursday.

Billiat opened the scoring in the 25th minute before doubling the lead five minutes into the second half.

Kingsley Mureremba added another goal later in the game to seal the victory.

Speaking after the game, Mapeza said: “We were looking for a positive result despite the wet conditions of the pitch.

“The boys worked very hard. I told them to be patient and the results will come, and now we have gotten our first win.

“Look at the opportunities we had, I think it was the same as in our previous matches. It’s all about patience; this is work in progress.”
