Zimbabwe’s foreign-based contingent head into the international break in mixed form, with some still battling injuries and a lack of game time.
Brendan Galloway featured in his second match since returning from injury last week. However, the latest appearance was a cameo in the 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town in League One.
Galloway’s return to full fitness could see him added to the Warriors squad for the upcoming four-nation tournament.
Elsewhere in England, Marvelous Nakamba was an unused substitute in Sheffield Wednesday’s 3-1 loss against Hull City in the English Championship, while his team-mate Sean Fusire played the entire game as a right-back.
Fusire, however, will not be part of the national team after withdrawing from the squad due to personal commitments.
In Scotland, Tawanda Maswanhise featured for Motherwell against Hibernian over the weekend but picked up an injury that has now ruled him out of the upcoming national team assignments.
Hibernian defender Munashe Garananga was not part of the matchday squad for the game.
Midfielder Marshall Munetsi continues to hold a regular spot in the Paris FC first XI after starting against Le Havre and playing the entire game.
Elsewhere in Europe, game time has been limited for several players. Bill Antonio has again featured as a substitute for KV Mechelen, while Jonah Fabisch was an unused substitute in Erzgebirge’s 2-1 loss against Waldhof in the German 3. Liga.
In the USA, Teenage Hadebe has been getting minutes with FC Cincinnati, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 4-3 win over Montreal, although the defender received a yellow card.
