Warriors, Bosso Clash In Exhibition Match – Eduzim News

Sports Correspondent – The Zimbabwe Football Association has reduced ticket prices for the national team’s exhibition match against Highlanders FC in a bid to boost attendance at Barbourfields Stadium on Wednesday.

The fixture comes as Highlanders, popularly known as Bosso, mark a historic milestone of 100 years since their establishment, with organisers aiming to draw a full house for the celebrations.

Under the revised pricing structure, standard entry tickets for the general stands have been lowered to $3 from the previous $5. Access to the Grand Stand is now set at $5, while VIP tickets will go for $10.

The VVIP section will remain exclusive and accessible by invitation only. Meanwhile, school children wearing uniform will pay a subsidised fee of just US$1 for entry into the Mpilo Stand.

The match is expected to serve as a crucial preparatory test for the Warriors as they gear up for an upcoming regional tournament.

Zimbabwe’s senior men’s national team is scheduled to take part in a four-nation invitational competition in Francistown later this month, where they will face off against Botswana, Zambia, and Malawi.

The tournament, running from 28 to 31 March, offers the Warriors an important opportunity to sharpen their squad and build momentum ahead of future international assignments.
