Moozlie bags deal with Metro FM
Metro FM is ushering in a new era with a refreshed line-up designed to inject fresh energy into its programming, placing familiar names and rising talents at the forefront of its latest revamp.
Leading the charge is media personality Siyabonga Ngwekazi, better known as Scoop Makhathini, who joins forces with rapper and TV host Nomuzi Mabena for a brand-new lifestyle show.
The duo is set to take over Friday nights from 19:00 to 22:00, before returning on Saturdays from 18:00 to 21:00, promising a high-energy blend of music, pop culture and conversations shaped by digital trends.
The station’s shake-up doesn’t stop there. Rising broadcaster Ricardo Genesis is stepping into a bigger spotlight after making the jump from VOW FM, marking a significant career move as he fills the gap left by Ismail Abrahams, who is exiting the station after years behind the mic.
Elsewhere, Mvangeli Nzuza joins the weekday roster, taking on traffic reporting duties and adding a new voice to the station’s daily rhythm, while experienced broadcaster Paulette Neo Kayise transitions to weekend news bulletins as part of the ongoing reshuffle.
With these changes, Metro FM appears to be leaning into a more dynamic and contemporary sound, blending established personalities with fresh talent in a bid to keep listeners engaged and the conversation flowing.
