Warriors coach Marian Marinica has issued a worrying update on the injury of Munashe Garananga.
Garananga started in the 3-0 win against Botswana on Saturday but picked up an apparent hamstring injury just eighteen minutes into the game. He was replaced by Isheanesu Mauchi at centre-back.
Speaking to ZIFA media, Marinica said: “Unfortunately, Munashe doesn’t look good, we’re still waiting for the medical report, but initial investigations suggest it doesn’t look good.”
The injury effectively rules the Scotland-based defender out of the upcoming Mukuru Four-Nation Tournament final against Zambia.
The match will be played at Obed Itani Stadium in Francistown on Tuesday at 6 pm CAT.
