Dynamos have issued a statement after their staunch supporter Ronald Mujuru Snr lost his entire family in a car accident along the Harare–Masvingo highway on Thursday.
According to details released by the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Mujuru’s wife and his five children were travelling in a private car to Zvishavane.
The driver of the vehicle, who was Mujuru’s wife, lost control and veered into the opposite lane before crashing into an oncoming truck.
All six occupants died on the spot.
In a statement, Dynamos paid tribute to Mujuru, saying: “To Ronald Snr and the entire Mujuru family, we as Dynamos Football Club send our sincere condolences following the tragic passing of Lillian, Nokutenda, Makanaka, Ronald Jr, Rufaro and Kayden.
“We pray God will help and guide you through this difficult time of bereavement.”
