Musa Khawula
Controversial South African blogger Musa Khawula is once again at the center of legal drama after reports emerged that he failed to appear in court over a 2022 murder case, allegedly triggering a warrant for his arrest.
The outspoken social media figure, known for his explosive posts and celebrity callouts, is said to be wanted by authorities following his absence from proceedings linked to the case.
According to reports circulating online, law enforcement has intensified efforts to locate him after he reportedly missed his scheduled court appearance.
Entertainment news platform MDN TV LIVE broke the story on Instagram, claiming that the National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed Khawula’s status as a wanted individual.
The situation stems from a high-profile case dating back to 2022, in which he faces serious allegations.
The platform shared: “The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape has confirmed that social media influencer Musawenkosi ‘Musa’ Khawula remains at large, with an active warrant of arrest issued in a high-profile 2022 murder case.
According to official correspondence from the Director of Public Prosecutions, dated 6 March 2026, in response to an inquiry, Khawula faces charges in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court (CAS 35/03/2022) for the alleged murder of his former boyfriend, Wandile Khambule.”
Authorities have reportedly tasked the South African Police Service in Vredenburg with tracking him down and ensuring he appears before the court.
As news of the development spread, social media erupted with divided reactions.
While some users defended Khawula and questioned the claims, others criticized him for allegedly evading the legal process, adding yet another layer of controversy to his already polarizing public image.
