Newcomers Hardrock FC moved into third following their 1-0 victory over Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium.
Tinashe Mashaireni scored the solitary goal in the 28th minute.
Triangle, who have picked up just three points so far this season, have now dropped into the relegation zone in 16th place.
At Mandava Stadium, FC Platinum returned to winning ways after edging Bulawayo Chiefs 1-0, with Emmanuel Dogbey scoring the decisive goal in the 75th minute.
MWOS also bounced back to beat struggling newcomers Agama 2-1.
The Punters got their goals from Arthur Banda’s first-half brace, while Agama grabbed a consolation through Tinashe Balakasi.
Elsewhere, ZPC Kariba and TelOne played out a goalless draw, while Chicken Inn beat Hunters 1-0.
