Hardrock coach Kelvin Kaindu speaks after picking up victory on return to Gibbo Stadium

Hardrock coach Kelvin Kaindu has admitted that his return to Gibbo Stadium on Matchday 6 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League came with a tricky challenge for his side.

Kaindu faced his former employers Triangle United on Monday, winning the game 1-0.

Tinashe Mashaireni scored the solitary goal in the 28th minute.

Speaking after the game, Kaindu said: “Coming back to Gibbo, I think this is a place I have worked at before. Sometimes, I have a slight advantage, and other times a disadvantage.

“I think they can do better with the playing surface, but our opponents are strong. It’s just a matter of time before they rise.”

The victory put Hardrock in third place with thirteen points, while Triangle, who have picked up just three points so far this season, dropped into the relegation zone in 16th place.
