Lesotho-born rapper Malome Vector’s family has confirmed his death in a car accident on Thursday.
Three people were killed in the accident, which saw the artist’s vehicle collide with a truck on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off.
Two other people have been hospitalized.
Vector, real name is Bokang Moleli, is survived by his wife and daughter as well as his mother, father, and four siblings.
According to a statement released by his manager, Berry Matseletsele, on behalf of his family, the musician was on his way home to Lesotho at the time of the crash and died on the scene.
The family has described him as “a true and loving son”. They say he will be remembered for his “limitless love and selflessness”.
