Popular radio personality, Lerato Kganyago has deactivated her X account after being cyberbullied for supporting Miss South Africa finalist Chidinma Adetshina.
In a video that surfaced on social media, Lerato read out the mean comments and mentioned women who bullied her.
The video garnered lots of views and comments; while some expressed their disappointment in people who bullied the radio presenter, others poked fun at her.
“This was really heartbreaking to watch, we should do better as women, saying such things to other women is absolutely uncalled for. It’s okay to have different views/opinions, it’s just not okay to be mean,” a tweep wrote.
“This is so sad to watch. Fertility issues are a sensitive topic and I can’t believe women can say such hurtful things to each other over an argument that is completely unrelated,” another wrote.
A user wrote, “not the friend fake crying.”
