Jaison Muvevi Reveals How He Secretly Juggled 3 Wives in 3 Cities
In a candid interview with The Sunday Mail from his prison cell, Muvevi opened up about juggling three families in different cities.
According to Muvevi, he customarily married all three women and fulfilled his lobola obligations. He maintained households in Zvishavane with a wife and three children, in Kadoma with another wife and two children, and in Harare with yet another wife and two children.
“I fulfilled my lobola obligations for all of them and played my role as a father,” said Muvevi with a chuckle.
Despite the logistical challenges, Muvevi claims he successfully kept the women unaware of each other’s existence. He described how his job as a gold miner provided the perfect cover for his absences.
“None of them knew or suspected that there were other wives; I had my ways of balancing my three lives without challenges,” he told the paper.

Status of His Relationship with His Family and Wives
One of his wives, who attended his court sessions, revealed they met in 2016 after Muvevi had retired from the police. She described him as a calm and non-violent man throughout their relationship.
However, in 2022, Muvevi abruptly left their home and didn’t return. His absence was dismissed as part of his usual work routine.
Muvevi added that his wives and brothers continue to visit him in prison, though it remains unclear how they feel about his triple-marriage confession.
