Emtee, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, has written a letter addressed to the South African Police Service (SAPS).
The rapper revealed that he has been receiving death threats from J Molley, who he also accused of harassing his mother and children.
Taking to social media, Emtee penned an open letter to the police, declaring that if anything happens to him or his family, the police will be held accountable.

WE ARE WRITING TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION A PRESSING MATTER OF CONCERN REGARDING THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF EMTEE, HIS FAMILY, AND MEMBERS OF EMTEE RECORDS. J MOLLEY HAS BEEN USING SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO ATTACK, THREATEN, AND HARASS EMTEE AND HIS LOVED ONES. THIS BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE AND HAS CAUSED SIGNIFICANT DISTRESS AND FEAR FOR THEIR SAFETY.
IN LIGHT OF THE RECENT TRAGIC LOSS OF AKA, WHO WAS TAKEN FROM US BY VIOLENCE, WE CANNOT HELP BUT FEEL A SENSE OF URGENCY AND ALARM. WE IMPLORE YOU TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO ADDRESS THIS SITUATION AND ENSURE THAT EMTEE, HIS FAMILY, AND HIS TEAM ARE PROTECTED FROM HARM.
“WE HOLD SAPS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF ALL CITIZENS, INCLUDING EMTEE AND HIS LOVED ONES. SHOULD ANY HARM COME TO THEM, WE WILL HOLD SAPS ACCOUNTABLE FOR FAILING TO ACT IN A TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE MANNER.
WE DEMAND THAT SAPS TAKES THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
- INVESTIGATES J MOLLEY’S THREATS AND HARASSMENT IMMEDIATELY.
- TAKES NECESSARY MEASURES TO ENSURE EMTEE’S SAFETY AND SECURITY.
- HOLDS J MOLLEY ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS ACTIONS.
