Munashe Garan’anga is not in FC Copenhagen’s squad for the match against Silkeborg on Friday.
The Zimbabwe international is serving the first of a two-match suspension following a straight red card in the previous fixture against FC Midtjylland.
Garan’anga was dismissed after a VAR review for a foul committed in stoppage time — just moments after scoring his first-ever goal in the Danish Superliga.
He will complete his suspension against Viborg in the following round.
However, the defender will be available for selection when FC Copenhagen host Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
