Triangle United booked their place in the 2025 Chibuku Super Cup final after a 2–0 victory over MWOS in a semifinal clash played at Ngoni Stadium on Saturday.
Triangle wasted no time in asserting dominance, with Witness Shave opening the scoring in the 3rd minute.
Triangle remained composed and eventually sealed the win when Menford Mudzimu struck in the 82nd minute to make it 2–0.
With the victory, Triangle United, – the 2018 winners – now await the winner between Dynamos and Highlanders, who face off in the second semifinal on Sunday at Rufaro Stadium at 3 PM CAT.
Meanwhile, MWOS were marking their maiden appearance in the cup competition following their promotion to the Premier Soccer League at the end of the 2024 season.
