
Mighty Warriors captain Emmaculate Msipa’s TP Mazembe are set to know their CAF Women’s Champions League opponents today.
The 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League final draw will be held at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt 1pm local time and will be broadcast live on CAF TV.
The 2025 edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League will be played in Egypt from 8 to 21 November 2025, and eight teams divided into two groups of four are expected to take part.
FC Masar (Egypt), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), AS FAR (Morocco), USFAS Bamako (Mali), ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast), 15 Agosto de Akonibe (Equatorial Guinea), Gaborone United Ladies (Botswana) and JKT Queens (Tanzania) are the participating teams
TP Mazembe, who are the defending champions, will be seeded as the top team in Group B, while host nation representatives FC Masar will lead Group A in line with CAF competition regulations.
Egyptian international Sarah Essam, the first Arab woman to play professional football in England and Spain, will conduct the draw.
Essam, who also served as a FIFA World Cup ambassador in 2022, currently plays for Halifax Women FC in England.
