
Simba Bhora have slipped to third place on the latest Castle Lager Premier Soccer League table after being held to a 1-1 draw by Highlanders in a Matchday 32 fixture at Wadzanayi Stadium on Saturday.
Highlanders opened the scoring through Benjamin Adeogun in the 20th minute, before the defending champions equalised on the stroke of half-time through Butho Ncube.
Simba are now five points behind leaders Scottland FC, who play on Sunday, while Bosso remain in tenth place with 37 points.
At Ngoni Stadium, MWOS climbed to second place following a 1-0 win over Triangle United. Washington Navaya netted the only goal of the match, taking his season tally to 17 as he continues to lead the scoring charts.
The result, meanwhile, pushes Triangle United back into the relegation zone with just two games left to play.
At Luveve Stadium, Chicken Inn and CAPS United played out a 1-1 draw. The Gamecocks took the lead through Michael Charamba, but Ishmael Wadi levelled for CAPS United.
Elsewhere, ZPC Kariba and FC Platinum shared the spoils in another 1-1 draw, while Manica Diamonds edged Ngezi Platinum 1-0.
