Football stars Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona have won their first-ever league titles in Zimbabwe following Scottland FC’s triumph on Sunday.
Scottland clinched the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League crown in their debut top-flight season, becoming only the second team to achieve the feat since Independence, after Black Rhinos’ success in 1985.
Mabviravira secured the title after reaching an unassailable 65 points, opening a seven-point lead with just two matches remaining.
The championship marks the first piece of silverware in Zimbabwe for both Billiat and Musona.
Billiat, who returned home in 2024 to join Yadah after more than a decade in South Africa, moved to Scottland ahead of the 2025 season.
Musona followed in June after leaving the Saudi Pro League, marking his first appearance in Zimbabwe’s top-flight. The former Warriors captain was among several marquee signings brought in during the mid-season transfer window and played a key role in the club’s march to the title.
