Peter Ndlovu has congratulated Scottland FC after they won the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title and secured a ticket to the 2026/27 CAF Champions League.
Mabviravira’s side sealed the championship after thumping Kwekwe United 5-1 to reach an unassailable 65 points, opening a seven-point lead with just two matches remaining.
Scottland’s triumph came in their debut top-flight season, making them only the second team to achieve the feat since Independence, following Black Rhinos’ success in 1985.
Posting on X, Peter Ndlovu wrote:
“Congratulations to Scottland Football Club, The President, Management, Coach, technical team, the PLAYERS, backroom staff and the supporters of the Club for winning the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Championship.
“The club through the season has shown bravery, sacrifices, and resilience. Besides everything that the Club has, finance, top players, support and well balanced, the job is done on the field and well done to the players for proving that. What can be said about the coach? The talent you have at your disposal still had to be coached and only then it can be realised and confirm your excellence.
“The Club has raised the bar and set the benchmark for professionalism in Zimbabwean Football.
“Cometh the test to invade and conquer the African Safari (CAF) and beyond. Its possible.”
