Scottland FC coach Tonderai Ndiraya has outlined the influence of Knowledge Musona in the team’s 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title success.
Musona made a surprise move to Mabviravira during the July transfer window, joining on a free transfer after parting ways with Saudi Pro League side Al-Okhdood at the end of his contract.
The Warriors international quickly became a key figure as Scottland mounted their title charge.
“I would specifically like to single out Knowledge Musona,” Ndiraya said. “He brought a lot of stability to our team and provided great leadership, which was probably lacking in the first half of the season.
“Not that we didn’t have leaders before, but Knowledge came in with a higher level of leadership quality—both on and off the pitch.”
Ndiraya also acknowledged the contribution of other mid-season signings, including Terrence Dzvukamanja, Moses Shidolo, Mafios Chihweta, and Khuda Muyaba.
