Scottland FC owner Scott Sakupwanya wants Denver Mukamba back at the club

Scottland FC owner Scott Sakupwanya has revealed that he is working on bringing Denver Mukamba back to the club.

Mukamba was one of the key players who helped Scottland gain promotion to the top flight but was released at the end of his contract in December 2024.

The midfielder spent six months without a club before rejoining Dynamos in July as a mid-season signing.

Since returning to the Glamour Boys, Mukamba has made several appearances—mainly as a substitute—as the team battled to avoid relegation.

Despite his limited game time, the midfielder has become a fan favourite, earning cheers every time he steps onto the pitch.

Now, Sakupwanya wants Mukamba back at Scottland ahead of the club’s debut CAF Champions League campaign next year, following their title triumph last Sunday.

Speaking in an in-house interview with Scottland Media, the club chairman said:

“In the coming pre-season, we have to get Denver. He should return to Scottland by all means.

“Even if Denver doesn’t play full minutes, the little time you give him, he makes an impact. When we faced Dynamos, I wasn’t worried about any other player—only Denver, because I knew he could cause us a lot of problems.”

Sakupwanya jokingly added: “For Dynamos, I’m sorry – Denver is my son, and next year, we’re looking forward to welcoming him back to Scottland.”
