Nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 announced

FIFA has unveiled the nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025.

Achievements considered for this year’s nominations cover the period from 11 August 2024 to 2 August 2025.

The coaches and captains of all 211 FIFA Member Associations’ women’s national teams will be invited to vote for three outstanding candidates in each of the women’s award categories. Likewise, coaches and captains of all 211 men’s national teams will select their top three choices for the men’s awards.

In addition to these official votes, media representatives — comprising journalists who regularly cover both the men’s and women’s games — and fans registered on FIFA.com will also have the opportunity to cast their votes across all award categories.

Meanwhile, the nominees for the Puskás Award and Marta Award, which celebrate the best goals of the year, will be announced at a later date.
