The Confederation of African Football hosted the 2025 CAF Awards in Morocco on Wednesday.
Morocco international Achraf Hakimi was crowned the Player of the Year after his great performances in PSG’s treble winning campaign.
In the women’s category, Ghizlaine Chebbak of Morocco was named the best player of the year.
The CAF Awards 2025 recognised outstanding contributions across both club and national competitions over the period between 6 January and 15 October 2025.
However, three awards in the women’s categories were not awarded as the performances in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt will be considered. The winners will be revealed later.
