Scottland have announced the departure of head coach Tonderai Ndiraya after just one season in charge.
Ndiraya joined Scottland ahead of the new season after leaving Simba Bhora and clinched the Caste Lager Premiership title with the club in their debut season.
The gaffer’s contract will not be renewed at end of year.
A statement by the Scottland FC reads:
“Scottland Football Club wishes to confirm that the club and head coach, Tonderai Ndiraya have reached a mutual agreement of not renewing his contract, which concludes at the end of this season.
“We would like to express our sincere appreciation for his commitment, professionalism and service during his time with the club.
“His contribution and dedication to the team have been highly valued and we extend our gratitude for the role he has played in the growth and development of our players.
“He led Scottland to a historic league title on debut Premier Soccer League season, earning us a ticket into the CAF Champions League.
“We wish him great success in his future endeavors and we are confident that he will continue to excel in his coaching career.”
Ndiraya’s departure means Scottland will be under a new coach when they play in their first ever CAF Champions League campaign next year.
