Zimbabwean youngster Takudzwa Gwanzura has extended his stay at Norwich City, signing a new long-term deal.
The 17-year-old defender joined the club last season from Blackpool and made appearances in the Under-18 Premier League South.
Gwanzura, who is currently sidelined through injury, has committed to an extended contract that keeps him at Norwich until 2028.
Signing his contract, Gwanzura told Norwich City media: “I’m very pleased. Obviously, I’ve worked hard to get something like this. I’m glad to get it finally over the line.
“I feel like I’ve settled in well, obviously travelling quite a distance from home. But I feel the lads, the coaches, have helped me.”
Gwanzura was born in the UK to a Zimbabwean father, which maes him eligible to play for Zimbabwe.
