Portugal-based Zimbabwean forward Corbert Chimedza has received his maiden call-up to the Warriors after being added to the provisional squad for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 20-year-old is expected to join camp later this week following his selection by new national team coach Mario Marinica. The locally-based group has already started camp in Harare.
Chimedza has been enjoying an impressive spell in Portugal, turning heads at AC Marinhense in the lower divisions, where he is on loan from top-flight side Gil Vicente.
A former MK Dons youth player, the youngster has steadily progressed through European football pathways and now looks set to compete for a place in the Warriors final squad.
