The Warriors’ preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations continue to take shape as more foreign-based players are expected to join the national team camp.
The squad began camp two weeks ago, with the locally-based players reporting first.
England-based midfielder Marvelous Nakamba joined the team last week, while defender Teenage Hadebe is expected to link up with the squad after arriving from his base in the United States last week.
Meanwhile, discussions have taken place between ZIFA and Plymouth Argyle over Brendan Galloway’s release, with the club initially hoping the defender could feature in their League One clash against Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday before joining camp.
The deadline for the release of players for AFCON is 15 December. The tournament is scheduled to kick off in Morocco on 21 December.
