The Warriors camp has been dealt another injury concern after Jordan Zemura picked up a muscle problem during Udinese’s 2–1 loss to Genoa on Monday.
Zemura started the match but was forced off after just 15 minutes due to a thigh issue.
According to reports in Italy, Udinese stressed that the Warriors international was withdrawn as a precaution after experiencing muscle strain.
However, the full extent of the injury is still unclear, raising concern within the Warriors camp with less than two weeks to go before AFCON kicks off.
Meanwhile, head coach Marian Marinica is also sweating over the fitness of vice-captain Marshall Munetsi, who is expected to spend at least six weeks on the sidelines.
