Knowledge Musona’s equaliser against Angola was named by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the Best Goal of the Day at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Musona scored a beautiful goal in the stoppage time of first half after receiving the ball from Bill Antonio.
The effort cancelled Angola’s lead from Gelson Dala’s opener in the 24th minute.

The result gave Zimbabwe their first point in Group B, after having lost the opening game against Egypt on Monday.
The Warriors will face South Africa in their final Group B game on 29 December.
