2025 AFCON: List of teams qualified for Round of 16 so far

Six teams have qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Round of 16 so far.

More teams will be confirmed as the group stage concludes, with matches still to be played in the remaining pools.

Group winners and runners-up will qualify automatically, while the four best-placed third-placed teams will complete the 16 teams in the first knockout stage.

The Round of 16 matches will be played from 3–6 January 2026, followed by the quarter-finals on 9 and 10 January.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 13 January, before the tournament concludes with the final in Rabat on 18 January, when the champions will be crowned.
