Sixteen teams have qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Round of 16 so far.
The list was confirmed following the conclusion of Tuesday games. Group E and F will be played this evening but the qualified teams from these remaining pools have already been confirmed.
Group winners and runners-up will qualify automatically, while the four best-placed third-placed teams complete the 16 teams in the first knockout stage.
The Round of 16 matches will be played from 3–6 January 2026, followed by the quarter-finals on 9 and 10 January.
The semi-finals are scheduled for 13 January, before the tournament concludes with the final in Rabat on 18 January, when the champions will be crowned.
