Jadel Football Academy director Walter ‘Ringers’ Musanhu has rejected a formal demand for outstanding payments from former employee Tachiona Diya following the termination of his contract in China.

Diya was the goalkeepers’ coach at the China-based academy.

In a letter directed to Jadel dated 28 December 2025, Diya confirmed receipt of his termination notice and requested payment of contractual dues.

“As per the terms of my contract and in accordance with the relevant labor laws, I kindly request that the company process my three months’ salary in lieu of notice,” the letter reads.

He also requested reimbursement for travel costs.

“…as the contract has been terminated by the company, I request reimbursement for the return ticket cost as stipulated in our agreement.”

Diya described his time at the organisation positively, saying that working in China was a great experience and that he learned a lot and valued the chance to be part of the team.

However, JFA Director Walter Musanhi rejected the demand, disputing that any further payments were owed.

“I have received your formal demand for payment. I did not bring you here as just an employee. I brought you here as a brother.”

Musanhi went on to list what he described as personal and professional support provided to Diya, including a job, a home, and a visa, as well as a computer and a phone, business class tickets, and additional personal assistance.

He accused Diya of failing to meet expectations, saying he neglected his duties after clear warnings, and described the payment demand as unacceptable.

“This ends now. There is no severance for brotherhood.

“You are not owed anything more from me. Not a single yuan or dollar,” he said.

Tachiona Tich Diya

I have received your formal demand for payment.
I need you to understand the full truth of our relationship. I did not bring you here as just an employee. I brought you here as a brother. I gave you a job, but I also opened my life to you. What I gave you came from me, Walter, not just from a company:

· A job, a home, and a visa.
· A computer and a phone for your work and life.
· Business class tickets, not once, but twice, so you could travel home in comfort.
· A custom suit, clothing, sneakers, groceries, daily lunches, and extra money from my own pocket for your personal needs.

I did all of this for one reason: I believed in you and treated you as family. Your response was to take it for granted, neglect your duties after clear warnings, and now, to send me a legal letter asking for a severance payment.

This ends now. There is no severance for brotherhood. That account is permanently closed. The trust is gone. All support personal and professional is finished.

You are not owed anything more from me. Not a single yuan or dollar. Do not contact me again for any reason. I hope you find your path and learn the true value of trust and gratitude.

This is my final word.

Goodbye

Walter
