Senegal will receive US$10 million for winning the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Teranga Lions clinched the trophy after beating hosts Morocco 1–0 in the final played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Sunday.
Pape Gueye scored the solitary goal in the fourth minute of extra time following a well-worked move.
The prize money represents a 43% increase from the US$7 million received by the 2023 champions, Ivory Coast.
Morocco will receive US$4 million, while the two semi-finalists — Nigeria and Egypt — will each pocket US$2.5 million.
