Former Zimbabwe Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari has completed a Diploma of Higher Education in Football Coaching from Leeds Beckett University officially advancing his transition into football coaching.

Mwaruwari took to his Facebook page to announce the achievement.

“Today I stand grateful and humbled as I complete my DiaHE in Professional Football Coaching qualification,” he said.

The former Manchester City and Portsmouth striker paid homage to the people around him for supporting him through what he described as a demanding journey.

“This achievement is not mine alone. I thank my family for their endless sacrifices, patience, and belief in me,” Mwaruwari said, adding that the encouragement from friends, mentors, colleagues, and supporters played a key role in his success.

Mwaruwari said the qualification marks the beginning of a new phase in his football career rather than an end point.

“This graduation is not the destination, but the beginning of a long and purposeful journey in football coaching,” he said.
