Warriors coach Marian Marinica has met several UK-based Zimbabwean players, including Liverpool defender Isaac Mabaya.
Marinica is currently in the United Kingdom on an assessment trip to monitor current Warriors players, while also engaging those who are eligible and have the potential to represent the national team.
Among the prospects he met is Mabaya, who was born in England to Zimbabwean parents.
The 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined by injury, is a Liverpool player on a season-long loan at Wigan Athletic. He has previously represented England at junior level but remains eligible to play for Zimbabwe.
This is not the first time Mabaya has been approached regarding a possible Warriors call-up.
Former national team coach Michael Nees met him last year during a UK tour, alongside ZIFA president Nqobile Magwizi.
