Tawanda Chirewa has left English Premier League side Wolves to join Barnsley on a six month loan deal.
Chirewa makes the move after failing to get regular game time following his promotion to the Wolves senior squad in early December.
The English League One side announced the signing, saying: “Welcome to Oakwell, Tawanda Chirewa. The 22-year-old winger arrives on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season.
“Chirewa arrives at Oakwell with valuable Premier League experience, having made ten Premier League appearances for Wolves since joining the club in 2023.
“He also made his Premier League debut as a second half substitute in a 0–0 draw away to Brighton & Hove Albion on 22 January 2024.”
