Former Dynamos FC winger Temptation Chiwunga was not part of Simba Bhora’s plans for the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, Soccer24 has learnt.
This comes amid reports suggesting that Chiwunga had snubbed Simba Bhora. However, information gathered indicates that the player had approached the Shamva-based side but was not guaranteed a contract.
Sources reveal that Chiwunga was advised to report to camp in Botswana, where the technical team would assess his suitability before making a decision. Before any formal arrangement could be concluded, the forward received communication that his services were required by Chicken Inn FC, prompting his return to Bulawayo.
Chiwunga has since joined Chicken Inn as they continue their preparations for the upcoming season.
