The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the details for the 2026 Castle Challenge Cup clash between league champions Scottland FC and Chibuku Super Cup holders Dynamos FC.
The traditional season curtain-raiser will be staged at Rufaro Stadium on 1 March 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm CAT. The fixture brings together the winners of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title and the country’s premier knockout competition, Chibuku Super Cup.
According to the PSL, general admission tickets have been pegged at $5. Fans wishing to sit in the VIP section will part with $10, while VVIP tickets have been set at $20.
The total prize purse for the Castle Challenge Cup stands at $55,000. The winners will walk away with $35,000, while the runners-up will receive $20,000. Beyond the financial incentive, the match also offers early silverware and momentum ahead of the start of the league season.
Both teams are expected to use the tie to assess their squads and new signings ahead of the marathon campaign that lies ahead.
