Sean Fusire’s future at Sheffield Wednesday is under spotlight following the club’s relegation to EFL League One.

Sheffield Wednesday’s relegation was confirmed two weeks ago, with fourteen games remaining before the season ends.

With the club facing struggles beyond the pitch, several players have reportedly been linked with a move away.

According to a report on The 72, Fusire is among the players that could easily be sold at the end of the season as the club tries to cash in on some of their stars and allow rebuilding in League One.

The Warriors international, who has been with the club since 2014 as a youth player, is still under contract with Sheffield Wednesday until 2027, and the club hold a one-year option.

Meanwhile, Marvelous Nakamba’s contract will expire at the end of the season, but the midfielder has expressed willingness to sign another deal.
