Former Warriors captain Willard Katsande has been appointed as the head coach of Zimbabwean club Rangers FC.
Rangers FC, formerly known as Chinhoyi Rangers, plays in the Northern Region Division One League and is based in Chinhoyi.
The ex-Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
The move marks Katsande’s first coaching job in Zimbabwe since acquiring his CAF coaching badge in mid-last year.
He was in the same class as another former Warriors captain, Tapuwa Kapini.
Katsande has no prior experience coaching a professional club but has done well managing his football academy, Kitoko Soccer School.
He has also held a technical team post at South African fourth-division side Crystal Lake FC and had an ambassadorial role at his former South African club Sekhukhune United F.C..
