Shock As Gokwe Woman Goes Public Over Husband’s Erectile Problems – Eduzim News

By A Correspondent – A woman from Gokwe has taken her marital struggles to the local traditional court, complaining that her husband’s bedroom difficulties have left her frustrated and emotionally drained.

Irene Chipatu, who has seven children with her husband, told the court on Sunday that their intimate life has all but disappeared over the past year due to her husband’s alleged erectile challenges.

Speaking at the session, Chipatu explained that in the past, her husband relied on herbal remedies from a traditional healer to address the issue, which had allowed them to conceive their children. Without these treatments, she said, there is “no fire at all” in their marriage.

“Chief, the ‘snake’ just lies there like a dead log. It never rises for any occasion. Without medicine, nothing happens,” Chipatu told the court.

She further alleged that whenever anyone attempts to help her husband with treatments, he destroys the herbs and prayer items meant to restore his potency, leaving her worried about the future of their relationship.

Feeling neglected and emotionally starved, Chipatu decided to bring the matter before Chief Chireya for intervention.

The case has been referred to the chief, who is expected to mediate and advise the couple on how to address the issue.

Both parties have been instructed to return to court in two weeks for follow-up.
Traditional leaders present at the session urged couples facing intimacy issues to communicate openly and seek medical or traditional remedies before problems escalate into serious marital conflicts.

This case highlights how deeply personal marital issues can sometimes spill into public and formal settings when left unresolved.
