Zanu PF Mbinga’s Land Rover Defender Catches Fire In Shurugwi – Eduzim News

By A Correspondent A Land Rover Defender owned by a local businessman and ruling party member in Shurugwi was severely damaged after it caught fire over the weekend.

The vehicle is said to belong to a Zanu PF member identified as Big Tich, who is widely known in the area for his involvement in the gold trade.

According to footage circulating on social media, the vehicle was already engulfed in flames while bystanders tried to assess the situation. In the video, Big Tich can be heard explaining that he was unable to open the bonnet of the vehicle as the fire spread.

The blaze caused significant damage to the Land Rover Defender before it could be brought under control.

Big Tich is also known locally for running a number of bars in the Gutsaruzhinji area of Shurugwi. The exact cause of the fire had not yet been established at the time of reporting.
