By A Correspondent– Three people are feared to have died after a helicopter reportedly crashed in Zaka District on Sunday, although the exact location of the crash has not yet been confirmed.

Reports circulating indicate that the aircraft went down somewhere within the district, but authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.

Zaka Rural District Council Ward 5 councillor Hardlife Makwanye confirmed that he had received reports of the crash, but emphasized that the information remains unofficial and details are still unclear.

“I have received reports that a helicopter crashed in Zaka and three people are said to have died, but the details are not yet official,” Makwanye said.

Authorities are expected to release more information once investigations are carried out and the circumstances surrounding the incident are verified.
