A video circulating online shows controversial Wicknell Chivayo flaunting his expensive wardrobe, reportedly spending about €330,000 (approximately US$380,000) on custom-made outfits from the Italian luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana.

In the footage, Chivayo discusses the cost of a single ensemble, which is said to exceed €10,000 (around US$11,000).

He is also heard making a comment targeting slimmer Zimbabweans: “Hanzi rambayi makawonda hembe dzevanhu vakobvu dzinodhura…”

The video has been shared widely on social media, sparking outrage over Chivayo’s extravagant spending amid the country’s ongoing economic challenges.
