Wicknell Chivayo Slams Ex-Wife Sonja, Says Zviroto Zviroto – Eduzim News

By A Correspondent – Controversial Zanu PF-linked businessman Wicknell Chivayo has launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife Sonja Madzikanda, dismissing claims circulating on social media and describing them as baseless.

In a statement on Friday marked by a tone of braggadocio, Chivayo mocked the allegations and insisted he has moved on with his life, saying he is currently celebrating his wedding anniversary abroad with his wife.

“ZVIR0T0 ZVIR0T0…,” he wrote, ridiculing the claims, before adding that he was “busy enjoying life and feeling deeply loved by my one and only wife, celebrating our first year anniversary in Switzerland, Milan and London.”

Chivayo said he had been alerted to what he described as “bizarre and profoundly outrageous videos” involving his former partner, including claims about conditions for a possible reunion.

“I am told by concerned friends and family that a woman I used to call my wife has some ‘terms and conditions’ for barika. As regrettable as this clearly is, I must also say that it is laughable,” he said.

He also dismissed allegations that he had once begged to see his ex-wife, describing them as fabricated.

“Quite frankly, the complexity of my business commitments and the quality of life I now enjoy would never allow me to spend three good hours sitting in a 2026 Rolls-Royce begging to see an ex-wife,” Chivayo said.

The businessman stressed that he has no intention of rekindling the relationship, making his position clear.
“Allow me to be very clear on this one, that will never ever happen. I have absolutely no intention, whether now or at any point in the future, of reuniting with my ex-wife under any circumstances,” he said.

Chivayo went further to describe his past relationship as difficult, alleging that he endured emotional abuse during their time together.

“I spent seven gruelling years in that relationship, and that chapter of my life is closed and historically concluded. I am happily married and at peace,” he said.

Despite the tensions, he said he remains committed to co-parenting their children, although he claimed the arrangement has not always been smooth.

“I have been nothing but a devoted and loving father to my children, supporting them emotionally and financially,” he said, while alleging that access to them had at times been challenging.

Chivayo also dismissed financial claims reportedly being made by his ex-wife, describing them as unrealistic.
“She is now claiming millions for maintenance and assets that have nothing to do with her. Day dreamer,” he said.

While acknowledging that some wealthy businessmen engage in polygamy, Chivayo insisted that he has no such intentions.

“I have absolutely no intention whatsoever of marrying another woman, let alone going back to that situation. I am fully content and completely at peace with my wife,” he said.

He concluded by urging the public to disregard speculation and allow him to enjoy his marriage in peace.
“Please stand guided accordingly and allow me to enjoy my anniversary with the love of my life in peace,” Chivayo said.
