Updated Warriors squad after several withdrawals

The Warriors squad for the upcoming four-nation tournament in Botswana has been changed following a number of injury-enforced withdrawals.

Experienced forwards Knowledge Musona, Tawanda Maswanhise, Prince Dube and Thando Ngwenya have all been ruled out, prompting adjustments to the initial squad.

Maswanhise, who turns out for Motherwell FC, remains in Scotland after picking up a minor knock following his side’s 0-0 draw with Hibernian FC.

ZIFA has since drafted in reinforcements, with Washington Navaya, Jarrison Selemani, Mongameli Tshuma and Godknows Murwira called up to bolster the squad.

This is Tshuma’s first call-up to the Warriors squad after strong start to life at Highlanders.

Earlier on, Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sean Fusire withdrew from the squad due to personal commitments and was replaced by Junior Zindoga of TS Galaxy.
