Richards Bay FC have officially parted ways with Zimbabwean striker Knox Mutizwa.
Mutizwa’s contract was terminated with just two months remaining before the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, cutting short his stint with the club.
According to SABC Sport, the decision to dismiss the Zimbabwean striker was taken due to ill-discipline, although specific details surrounding the alleged misconduct have not been made public.
The development officially makes Mutizwa a free agent.
Mutizwa, who previously made his name in the South African top flight with Golden Arrows, will now be on the lookout for a new club.
A move within South Africa at this stage of the season appears unfeasible.
However, he could still secure a deal in Zimbabwe should any local club express interest in signing him.
